Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Controller of Explosives & Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• Deputy Controller of Explosives: Candidates should possess Degree in Chemical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. Three years’ experience in Chemical works or in manufacturing and handling of explosives and /or in compressed gases and/ or refining of Petroleum.
• Scientific Officer (Electrical): Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
• Junior Technical Officer: Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Telecommunication / Civil / Marine / Naval Architecture / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Specialist Grade-III (Cardiology), Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (ENT, Preventive and Social Medicine, Psychiatry): A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• Deputy Director (Safety) (Electrical): Degree in Electrical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Deputy Director (Safety) (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Sub-Regional Employment Officer: Master's Degree in Social Welfare or Labour Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized university or equivalent.
• Assistant Controller of Mines: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution or passed Section (A) & (B) of the Institution of Engineers (India) examinations i.e. Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Mining Engineering.
• Assistant Director (Physical Education): Master’s Degree in Physical Education with 55% marks OR Master’s Degree in Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record.

Age Limit

• Deputy Controller of Explosives, Junior Technical Officer, Assistant Controller of Mines, Assistant Director (Physical Education): 35 years.
• Scientific Officer (Electrical), Sub-Regional Employment Officer: 30 years.
• Specialist Grade-III (Cardiology), Specialist Grade-III, Assistant Professor (Psychiatry), Deputy Director (Safety) (Electrical), Deputy Director (Safety) (Mechanical): 43 years.
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (ENT, Preventive and Social Medicine): 40 years.

Application Fee:

• Gen/OBC: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/-.
• SC/ST/PH/Women candidates: No application fee.
