The papers were well attempted as our reporters found outside many exam venues. Optional papers hold a lot of importance in balancing the final scores of the candidates.
Before appearing for the Optional paper, the candidates must revise or brush up on the topics that are currently in news. This means that they must revise all the theories related to happenings in the past 6 months.
Also, they must keep some examples ready with them to support their theories.
Experts suggest the candidates just go through their most difficult topics on the last day of the preparation and not study a word before the exam on the actual date.
The entire year is spent by candidates studying their optional subject, so they should feel confident in it as well. Feeling underconfident and underestimation of oneself only leads to poor performance.
