NDA Exam Date 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 21, 2024. The NDA exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The examination will be conducted for admissions to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 153rd Course and for the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), commencing on January 2, 2025.

NDA Exam Date 2024: Official Notice
The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2024 at various centres and venues all over India on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The candidates will have to produce a printout of their e-admit card at the allotted venue for appearing at the examination. A candidate, who does not produce his/her e-Admit card for checking at the allotted venue, shall not be allowed to take the examination. NDA Exam Timing and Schedule
The candidate is expected to arrive at the examination centre 30 minutes before the scheduled time. 10 minutes before the scheduled time, the entry gates will get closed. Please refer to the table below for shift times.

UPSC has released the admit card for NDA Exam 2024 on its official website - upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in. NDA Selection Procedure
The selection process for the UPSC NDA involves two stages, each designed to assess candidates. In the first stage, candidates must clear a written examination consisting of subjects like mathematics and the General Ability Test (GAT). Those who clear the written exam, will be called for an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
NDA Exam Pattern
The written exam is the first stage in the recruitment procedure. Two papers of 300 marks and 600 marks will be conducted for mathematics and GAT, respectively. Based on the marks received in written the list of selected candidates will be released.

Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test
The SSB procedure consists of two stage Selection process - stage I and stage II. Only those candidates who clear stage I are permitted to appear for stage II. The details are:-
(a) Stage I comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests, the Picture Perception Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the OIR Test and PP&DT.
(b) Stage II Comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, psychological Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days.
