Analyse the Syllabus and Exam Pattern
It is also important to go over the syllabus and exam pattern. Check out which topics are more important for the exam, check your strengths and weaknesses, and start the revision with your strong topics.
Plan a Section-Wise Strategy
To solve maximum questions with high accuracy, candidates must prepare a section-wise UPSC NDA exam strategy. With this, they must know which questions need to be attempted in priority and which ones can be skipped to avoid negative markings in the exam.
Attempt Mock Tests and Previous Year Question Paper
Candidates can revise the covered concepts by solving questions from the previous year's papers, mock tests, sample papers and question banks. This will help them review their preparation level and help them improve their weak areas to avoid making the same mistake in the exam.
Avoid Studying New Topics
Candidates should not pick any new topic in the last month of preparation, as it can lead to conceptual confusion. So, they must revise only the concepts covered so far to maximise their scores in the exam.
Time Management
Since there will be a penalty (negative marking) in the exam, candidates must decide on how much time to allocate to different types of topics asked in the exam. Also, they must handle time-consuming questions at last. This will help them to solve a maximum number of questions in the stipulated period.
