The results of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2014 are expected to be out in this week. The UPSEE exam is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) for the UG and PG courses for engineering, pharmacy and architecture. The exam for UG courses was conducted on 20 April 2014 and around 1.83 lakh candidates appeared for the exams. For the PG courses the exam was conducted on 27 April 2014. Those who will pass the exam will be able to secure admissions into 302 B.Tech, 13 B.Arch, 407 MBA, 134 MCA, 33 M. Pharma and 40 M.Tech institutes affiliated to the University.

As per last year reports, about 80% candidates passed the exam and girls performed well than boys. The pass percentage recorded last year was 81.8%.

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a public university that is located at Uttar Pradesh. It was set up by Government of India on 08 May 2000. It is said to be the biggest technical university in Asia and has about 800 colleges affiliated under it. The university offers various undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, hotel management, fashion design, pharmacy and so on. The university is also into offering post graduate courses in computer applications and business administrations.
