NMAT 2013 will be an Objective type questions based exam and there will be no negative marking.
Exam will have three sections namely:
• Quantitative Skills
• Logical Reasoning
• Language Skills
There will be a total of 120 questions in the exam and maximum time allotted for the same would be 120 minutes.
Distribution of the number of questions and time will be as under:

Candidates sitting in the entrance exam should be very careful about the time allotted to each section. Very importantly, candidates need to perform well in each section since, score of each section along with an overall score will be considered for short listing for the second round and overall merit. Maximum number of questions are based on the concept of Quantitative Skills and thus it also needs maximum time, precisely half of the total examination time has been allotted to this section.
Candidates can also reschedule their exam if they are not satisfied with their scores in the first attempt.
