1st Indo-Africa ICT Expo launched in Nairobi
The Expo was conducted by Indian Government in conjunction with ICT Authority of Kenya, India’s Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC) and NASSCOM.
Indian Government in conjunction with ICT Authority of Kenya, India’s Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC) and National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) on 28 September 2015 launched the 1st Indo-Africa ICT Expo in KICC, Nairobi.
There are over 100 technology companies who are showing their latest products and solutions at the Indo-Africa ICT Expo cum Conference.
This event was attended by over 2000 visitors and over 300 conference delegates. This Expo is considered as a platform to build synergy among India & African countries to showcase innovative & diversified products & services.
TEPC was set up by the Union Government to promote and develop export of Telecom Equipment and Services.
TEPC as a Council plays a critical role in furtherance of Telecom export from India and assist Indian member companies in easy facilitation of their respective exports.
The Council caters to the complete Telecom Ecosystem including Telecom Hardware Manufacturing, Telecom Service Provision, Telecom Software, and Consultancy.
ICT Authority of Kenya
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology of Kenya.
The corporation was established in August 2013 to rationalise and streamline the management of all Government of Kenya ICT functions.
