Bihar state government adopted a new policy called Aao Bihar (Come to Bihar) for acquiring land for industry and other ventures of public good under which it would act only as a link between landowners and investors. Moreover, the government also has created its own land bank.
This new policy is aimed at giving investors a sense of certainty that land would be available for them in Bihar. According to this policy the government will not directly acquire land. Instead, a pool of landowners will be created, who are willing to sell their land for public good at their own desired rate.
