The Government of India launched 'Operation Ganga' to evacuate around 15,000 Indians in Ukraine amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Indian Government will bear the entire cost of the evacuation process of its citizens from war-torn Ukraine. The evacuation is being carried out from neighbouring countries, as Ukrainian air space is closed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was an actor before his entry into politics. He was an actor and comedian and had a production company of his own. His famous TV show Servant of the People featured him as a school teacher who becomes Ukraine's president after his rant goes viral.
