1. (a) 8-8.5 percent

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2021-22 in the Lok Sabha on January 31, 2022. The Economic Survey 2022 projects India's GDP growth to be between 8-8.5% in the Fiscal Year 2022-23. 

2. (a) Agriculture

The agriculture sector was least affected by lockdowns of various kinds, according to Principal Economic Advisor Sanjeev Sanyal. The Agriculture sector grew by 3.6 percent in the fiscal year 2020-21 and again by 3.9 percent in the fiscal year 2021-22.

Rafael Nadal won his record-breaking 21st Grand Slam title after making a stunning comeback in the men's singles final at the Australian Open 2022. He defeated world No. 2 Daniil Medvedev, 2-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 in the final match that lasted 5 hours and 24 minutes.

World no. 1 Ashleigh Barty became the first Australian woman to win Australian Open since Christine O'Neil in 1978. Barty beat world no. 27 Danielle Collins 6-3, 7-6(2) in the women's singles final on January 29, 2022.
