Delhi government set up helpline for information on Ebola

Delhi government set up a control room and helpline in New Delhi for information on Ebola.

Delhi government on 24 November 2014 set up a control room and helpline in New Delhi for information on Ebola. It has been set up for internal monitoring of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) and also provides information about the EVD to the public.

The control room can be contacted at 011-22307145. The helpline is to follow up and to clear the queries of people about Ebola.

Union government provided 400 personnel protection equipments to Delhi till November 2014 and EVD related guidelines have been disseminated to all stakeholders.

Lok Nayak Jai Prakash hospital will look after the referral cases of Ebola.
