The social networking site Facebook on 26 June 2012 announced to replace the email address which is displayed on profile page while signing up with @facebook.com domain address. Facebook ranked third in terms of the users with around 46 million active users in India.
The users who had the domain address from Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail would likely to expose @facebook.com domain address on 2 July 2012. The user’s profile will show @facebook.com domain address. There will be an option to return back to other email address domain by changing the profile information of display settings. Users can also hide the facebook domain @facebook.com address as well.
Facebook is a social networking site. It was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and launched in February 2004. Its first Initial Public Offering (IPO) offered on May 2012 due to which facebook share price dropped from 38 dollar to 28 dollar.
