R.K. Khanna Tennis Complex Inaugurated

Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. M. S. Gill inaugurated an upgraded R.K. Khanna Tennis Complex on 11 July 2010. For the first time tennis as a medal sport would be introduced in the Commonwealth Games and R.K. Khanna Tennis Complex would serve as the venue for Tennis competition for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. M. S. Gill inaugurated an upgraded R.K. Khanna Tennis Complex on 11 July 2010. For the first time tennis as a medal sport would be introduced in the Commonwealth Games and R.K. Khanna Tennis Complex would serve as the venue for Tennis competition for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. The cost for upgrading the stadium was Rs 65 crore. The stadium has fourteen tennis courts and would provide state of the art facilities for the Commonwealth Games.
