The Supreme Court of India on 30 May 2011 issued notice to gutka manufacturers on an application which alleged that gutka makers were still using plastic material in package sachets and thus defying the ban of the court.


A vacation bench of Justices CK Prasad and Justice GS Singhvi issued the notice. The final hearing of the case will take place on 6 July 2011.
