Syntheism – Creating God in The Internet Age: Alexander Bard
A book titled Syntheism – Creating God in The Internet Age authored by Alexander Bard was released in the first week of October 2014.
According to Bard, internet age is going to have Syntheism to keep people online. Syntheism is a word taken by Greek work Syntheos and means humanity creates God – as opposed to the God creates humanity, basis of the traditional monotheistic religions.
About Alexander Bard
• Bard is an Activist, musician and a religious leader
• In 2012, he founded a new religion called Syntheism in which he claimed that the internet is God. He justified his idea behind formation of religion by saying that if man creates God, than it was time to create a religion that is relevant to 21st century
• Bard along with Jan Söderqvist has written three books on internet revolution collectively known as The Futurica Trilogy. This Triology includes
a) The Body Machines (2009)
b) The Global Empire (2002)
c) The Netocrats (2000)
