Thomas Cook India acquired Ikya, the Human Resource Staffing Solutions Company

Thomas Cook India, the largest Indian integrated travel service company on 6 February 2013 acquired 74 percent interests of Ikya Human Capital Solutions, the human resource staffing Solutions Company by signing an investment agreement with it. Thomas Cook made an investment of 256 crore rupees to acquire the interests of Ikya.

With this acquisition, Thomas Cook has been successful in broadening its portfolio in the service industry and has entered the largest Human Resource market of the world.

•    Ikya as a company is involved in offering human resource services that includes searching the candidate, recruitment, facilities management, project based hiring of professional as well as general staffs and skill development.
•    The company as an associate to more than 500 leading Indian corporate clients and have 32 offices across India with a team size of 1400 members and 54000 associates.
