Moonsighting In Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, & Qatar
In nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and the United Kingdom, the Supreme Court has urged Muslims to watch for the crescent moon on April 8, 2024. A successful sighting would confirm the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr on April 9, 2024. However, the moon remains unseen on April 8, due to a solar eclipse so Chaand Raat was postponed for April 9. This led to the Eid celebration on April 10, 2024.
