Ghiyas ud-Din Tughlaq
The real name of Ghiyas ud-Din Tughlaq was Ghazi Malik. He was a general under Alauddin Khilji. When Khusro captured Delhi’s throne, Ghazi Malik along with his son Fakhr Malik marched towards Delhi. Khusru was defeated and killed in August 1321 and his 4 months of unjust rule came to an end.
Ghazi Malik sat on the throne of Delhi in 1321 with the name Ghiyas ud- Din Tughlaq. He was the founder of Tughlaq dynasty. He ruled over the empire for four years and managed to bring the peace and prosperity to some extent. He launched a campaign against Bengal and recovered the provinces of Deccan.
Ghiyas ud-Din Tughlaq died in 1325 when a roof fell on his head and crushed him to death. Following his death his son Fakhr Malik sat on the throne of Delhi by the name Muhammad Bin Tughlaq and ruled for 26 years till 1351.

• He tried to implement all the required reforms in other sectors such as army and administration as well.
