Out of them, 62 were overseas players. 8 Right to Match Cards (RTM) were used to retain players, and a total of ₹639.15 crore was spent.

Following closely was Shreyas Iyer, sold to the Punjab Kings for ₹26.75 crore. On the other end of the spectrum, the least expensive player was Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old bought by the Rajasthan Royals for just ₹1.1 crore.

Additionally, 392 players remained unsold, highlighting the competitive nature of this year's auction.
