Officials from Kendriya Vidyalaya have stated that the Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country will promote all its students from classes 1 to 8 irrespective of whether they appear for the examination or not.
The officials have stated that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has decided that the students from classes 1 to 8 irrespective of whether they have appeared in the term-end examinations will be promoted to the next class. The officials have stated that the verification of the fee of the students has been done accordingly.
Kendriya Vidyalaya has suspended classes for its students until March 31, 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the country.classes for the students from class 1 to 8 have been suspended with examinations being cancelled.
Examinations canceled in schools, colleges, and universities
Along with the schools, the state boards have also postponed its ongoing class 10 and 12 examinations for the students until March 31, 2020. The rescheduled dates of class 10 and 12 board examinations will be released by the board officials after March 31, 2020.
Classes for the universities and colleges have also been suspended with the classes being conducted online. The students are being provided with the facility of attending online classes with the teachers conducting classes online to finish the syllabus on time.
The examinations for the students in the universities and colleges have also been postponed along with other college events.
Apart from postponing the examinations the application process for some of the entrance examinations has also been extended. Some of the examinations include IGNOU OPENMAT 2020, ICSI CS Applications, etc.
