NID Admission 2021: The National Institute of Design (NID) has started accepting online request for rechecking of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims answer booklet. The candidates who appeared for BDes and MDes exam can submit their request at admissions.nid.edu. They can submit the online request for rechecking the answer booklet by 25th June at 8 pm. The fees for re-evaluating the prelims answer booklet is Rs 2,000 and can be paid online only on the official website.

As per the important dates, the window to submit the rechecking request for the DAT prelims exam (BDes and MDes) will be available till 25th June at 8 pm. The last date to submit the theme poster/portfolio for BDes candidates is 28th June 2021. Also, the last date to submit the SoP and portfolio for MDes candidates is 28th June only.
How to submit the BDes or MDes Prelims Answer Booklet Re-evaluation Request?
Candidates will have to submit their requests only in online mode. They must apply before the prescribed date. Later no request for rechecking will be accepted. The steps to submit the request for rechecking the answer booklet of MDes DAT prelims are as follows -
- Step 1 - Go to the official website - admissions.nid.edu.
- Step 2 - On the homepage, click on the tab ‘Rechecking for BDes’ or ‘Rechecking for MDes’
- Step 3 - A login window will appear on the screen.
- Step 4 - Enter the login details - email address and date of birth.
- Step 5 - Submit the request for re-evaluating the prelims answer booklet
NID DAT Answer Booklet 2021 Re-Checking Details
Candidates must keep in mind that the rechecking of the answer booklet will be confined to the following criteria - whether each answer has been checked and marked and whether there is a discrepancy in the totalling of marks for each question in Part II answer booklet and transferring the marks correctly onto the first cover page of the answer booklet. In case any error is found while re-evaluating the answer booklet then the marks will be revised accordingly. Students will be communicated regarding the revision of the marks separately on their registered email id.
