As this time, the CISCE 10th and 12th exams will be conducted in two semesters, therefore the authorities will be releasing mark sheets for semester 1. As per last year’s information, the CISCE class 10th and 12th exam result for semester 1 is expected to include the following details -
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has not yet announced the marking scheme for the calculation of scores. However, as this year, the exam will be held in two semesters. In the 1st semester of CISCE 10th and 12th, there were MCQs. Also, the marks have been allotted in the bracket for each question and there will be no negative marks for any incorrect answers. So, students can calculate their CISCE semester 1 for ICSE and ISC marks.
As per the results declared, CISCE recorded a pass percentage of 99.34 percentage for the ICSE Class 10 examinations while pass percentage for the ISC Class 12 examinations was 96.84 percentage. After the announcement of the ICSE and ISC class 10th and 12th semester 1 result, all the students will be given the marks that they have secured in the semester 1 examination. Students will get a computer-generated mark sheet that will include subject-wise marks. Further, they will have to appear for the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th semester 2 exam likley to be held in March/April 2022.
After the announcement of CISCE result, students will be given the provision to apply for rechecking. Those who are not satisfied can apply for recheck directly through the Council's website www.cisce.org. Kindly note that the Recheck charges for ICSE will be Rs. 1000/- per paper and for ISC will be Rs.1000/- per subject. In addition, the provision to apply for recheck of the results by the Head of the School through the CAREERS Portal will also be available. The ICSE and ISC rechecking and revaluation process will be conducted based on the applications filled by the students. Also, the updated marks after the rechecking and revaluation process will be available for download on the official website of the board.
After the 1st-semester CISCE 10th and 12th exams, students will not be provided with the facility to reappear as this time only mark sheet will be released. However, after ICSE 10th and ISC 12th semester 2 result, students will be able to take compartmental exams if they are not satisfied with their marks.
The compartmental exams are conducted for the students who failed in the ICSE 10th or ISC class 12 exams. The applications for the CISCE examinations will be available on the official website of the board. Students are required to submit the application form and the application fee to appear for the compartmental exams.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) was established to replace the Cambridge School Education Certificate and it took over three decades to reach its current form. The first ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) examinations were conducted in the year 1986, following the New Education Policy 1986.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) also conducts the Certificate of Vocational Education Examination at the higher secondary level. The Joint Council of Higher Education under the aegis of the CISCE was established complying with the National Policy of Education 1986 on the recommendation of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
