A great upsurge in placement of GLA university, 1000 students placed

Mathura. This year, the placements in GLA University, Mathura took a big leap. Around this time of the last year, 615 students had been placed whereas this year, the number has increased to 1000. Based on the result and statistics, the personnel of Training and Placements Department are quite hopeful of a further increase in the placement rates in the future.

Be it known that reputed national and multi-national companies are continuously visiting GLA University, providing placements to students in their firms through campus placement drives, following which, there is great excitement and enthusiasm among students. Recently 70 companies visited the University and employed 1000 students through the means of various test procedures like group discussion and interviews. Among others, top IT companies of India, like TCS employed 119 students, Capgemini recruited 103 students, 92 students were placed in Concentrix, 78 students were placed in Infosys, 53 in Wipro and 28 in Torry Harris.

One of the TCS placed B.Tech CSE student Ayushi Nigam said that she owes her success to university administration, which guided her to achieve her goals and opened new possibilities for her career. She also mentioned that GLA has its own kind of teaching pattern and environment, where teachers along with students work hard to provide quality education. The students of GLA University are feeling relief just like water sprinkles in the scorching sun.

Wipro-placed Akshay Bansal thanked his parents as well as GLA university and said that the teachers not only guided students but also made them do the activities like group discussion and mock interviews which gave a real-life exposure of how the selection procedure for various companies are carried out. He also mentioned that the university is emerging as a placement hub for students.

Hon’ble Chancellor Narayan Das Agrawal told that university is sure of a further increase in these numbers as many students have completed their research and this will help them seek employment.

He also told that the students and staff of GLA University have worked day and night to attract these great number of recruiters to GLA  and there is a lot of anticipation around the placements this season. Owing to the motivating paradigm of placements in the university, we hope that the fascination for placements among students will stay intact.
