ASRB NET 2013: Exam Scheme

    The ASRB - NET 2013 Examination is the qualifying examination for determining the eligibility of a person for recruitment as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs) only.

    Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test 2013 will be eligible for applying / recruitment as Lecturers / Assistant Professors in the SAUs / AUs.
    The ASRB will issue the NET 2013 Certificate / score card to the qualified candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural Universities / Agricultural Universities.

    Examination Scheme: The ASRB NET 2013 Exam will have one paper of 150 marks. The 2- hour paper will have 150 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions of one mark each. Candidates will be required to mark the answer for each question in the OMR Sheet provided for the purpose with a Black Ball-point Pen only.

    The Question paper will be set in both English and Hindi and the standard of paper will be that of a Master’s degree of an Indian University.
    There is provision o f Negative marking and 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
