Assam Police Grade 4 Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate must be 18 years for all categories. However, the maximum age limit varies depending on the department.

The upper age limit is 25 years for Assam Commando Battalion posts. Candidates applying for these posts must be born on or before 01 July 2004 and on or after 01 July 1997.

The maximum age limit is 40 years for Assam Police, DGCD & CHGH, and Fire & Emergency Services. Applicants for these posts should be born on or before 01 July 2004 and on or after 01 July 1982.

Varicose veins are considered a temporary disqualification.

• Eye Sight: Distant Vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not worse than 6/9 for the other (without correction). Near vision must be normal.

• Color Vision: High color vision is required.
