The Cambridge Business School viewed a considerable drop in the applications which went up by a double digit percentage in the year 2012.
The applications fell to a twenty two percent to seven hundred and seventy eight. Apparently one of the reasons for the same is because of the new U.K. student visa regulations that came into effect very recently.
Also, the visa reforms capped a number of foreign skilled workers that U.K companies could hire amongst the other measures. From now, the MBA candidates must accept a job during the term of their student visas to get retained and continue working.
However, the good news is that despite the drop, Cambridge still managed to enroll a MBA class of 151 students, from a 149 in 2011.
