Candidates Walked Out on RAS Exam Following Paper Leak Rumor

    The Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) pre-examination marred once again by the rumors of paper leak in Dausa. On 26 October 2013, hundreds of aspirants walked out on RAS pre-exam held at Dausa center after getting rumor that paper was leaked at another examination center.

    Clarifying the actual situation, a police official said that on getting furious over delay in distribution of question papers, some candidates spread the rumor in the examination hall about paper leak.

    Following the rumor, candidates walk out of the examination hall and started shouting against RPSE chairman Habib Khan. The protestors jammed the NH-11 for around half an hour. They also threw question paper in the air and tore out the OMR sheets in protest against the leak. Invigilators and police officers tried to persuade them for a fair inquiry into the allegations and requested that they should give exams but to no avail. They also got involved in brawling with the police officials.

    The organizer of the exam, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), said that they do not consider the paper was leaked because the paper was out only after the examination started at 10am on Saturday, 26 October.
