New record has been made in Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015. Students broke previous five year record by securing maximum number of percentiles in this year; there are 17 students who secured hundred percentile. There were 16 students, who secured 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014 but this year this number rose to 17, it leads to a new record of hundred percentiles. In this year only one girl managed to enter the hundred percentiler’s club out of 58,270 girls who appeared for CAT 2015.

It is also quite interesting to see that many experts had anticipated a dip in hundred percentilers in this year but it proved wrong and hardworking participants broke all records and also proved the anticipation of the experts wrong.

On the basis of overall analysis of data of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 result, it is concluded that male candidates have edge over female candidates because out of the 1,814 candidates who managed 99 percentile and above there are only 136 female candidates. Approx. 9,000 candidates scored above 95 percentile but only 1,243 girls are there in this group apart from these only 8 female candidates reached to 99.9 percentile. Ruchi Aggarwal, one of them is a commerce graduate from NM College, scored 99.99 percentile.

Data about transgender candidates are not as per expectations because total number of 80 transgender candidates had registered for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 but only 41 candidates were appeared in the exam and could not cross the 90 percentile line.

Here are the name of some toppers who got hundred percentile score but pursuing final-year engineering degrees from the IITs i.e. Chirag Jha a student from IIT-Bombay, Nischay Budhiraja a student from IIT-Roorkee, and Sabyasachi Mishraa student from  IIT-Kharagpur.
