CBSE to reiterate three-language formula

A few days back the government dropped German as the third language in Kendriya Vidalaya schools. But the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to issue a notice to all its affiliated institutions for adopting a foreign language as one of the three compulsory languages in the class.

A few days back the government dropped German as the third language in Kendriya Vidalaya schools. But the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to issue a notice to all its affiliated institutions for adopting a foreign language as one of the three compulsory languages in the class.

As per the government sources ,The CBSE will be issuing a circular this week recapitulating the three-language formula, according to which apart from English and Hindi, the secondary stage students should  be taught a modern Indian language also.
