West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) conducted the class 10 examination or Madhyamik examination 2014 in the month of Feb-March on several examination centers of West Bengal state in India. As per calculations, about 10, 50,959 students appeared in the West Bengal Madhyamik examination 2014.

In the previous year, the Madhyamik results 2013 were declared on 27 May 2013 at around 11 am. Every year the board tries to declare the results in mid of May. This year also they are to maintain the trend.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) was established in the year 1951 under the Act of the State Legislature known as the West Bengal Secondary Education Act 0f 1950. Many public and private schools are affiliated with the board. The board is set up to conduct two major annual exams every year – class 10 and class 12. Around 10, 50,000 examinees take up the exams every year.
