As per the School Education Minister, Rajendra Darda, Maharashtra SSC Results 2014 would be announced on 17 June 2014. This year around 17 lakh students took the SSC examination. Just after the declaration of Maharashtra SSC exam results candidates willing can get Maharashtra Class 10 results 2014 or Maharashtra SSC results 2014 over different websites including: mahresult.nic.in, mh-ssc.ac.in, msbshse.ac.in, sscresult.mkcl.org.

The results of the SSC examination 2014 will be will be made public at around 1:30pm
Last year, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education that conducts the SSC and HSC examination ever year had announced the SSC results on June 7. However, the results were delayed this year and had caused worry among the students.

Almost all the Indian states have declared the results of Class 10 and Class 12th results in the last month of May. The Maharashtra board too had declared the Class XII results on June 02. Maharashtra State board officials said it was due to the hall ticket delay, retirement of several senior officials and an additional burden on science teachers to evaluate ICT papers.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune came into existence on 1st January, 1966, as per the Maharashtra Act No.XLI of 1965 (called as Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965) to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the State of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 Lacs for HSC and 17 Lac’s SSC, for the supplementary examination around 6 Lacs students are expected HSC and SSC together. There are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. colleges in the entire state.
