College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur under Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 2 posts of Research Fellow (1 post) and Technical Assistant (1 post) for aproject titled “Clinical applications of porcine derived collagen graft in Veterinary practice”in theDepartment of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. 1. Project Fellow: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs. 11000 per month (Consolidated)

Eligibility criterion

Age limit: below40 years (as on 10 March 2014)

Qualifications:  Any Science degree with MLT/ B.Sc. Biochemistry/ B.Sc. Biotechnology

2. Technical Assistant: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs. 6000 per month (Consolidated)

Eligibility criterion

Age limit: below 40 years (as on 10 March 2014)

Qualifications: Plus two (10+2) or VHSC with one year diploma in Laboratory techniques

Candidate with theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in laboratory techniques including histopathology will be preferred.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview, date of which will be intimated later.

Candidates called for the Interview will be required to produce all original documents for verification at the time of Interview.  

Selected candidates will be appointed oncontract basisfor a period of three years.
