Department of Training and Placement at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida caters for enhancing not only the employability skills of the passing out DGItes but also the overall development of their personality. We understand the competition faced by today's youth thus the employment of the students of the college is our major concern. Of course, arranging for the Training and Placements of our students is the primary function, the department also takes initiative for developing right attitudes, soft skills - especially that of verbal communication, motivating our students to have strong technical as well as analytical capabilities, and exposing them to the nuances of economic and financial aspects related to their professional careers.
We nurture the student - corporate interaction, by means of frequent industrial visits, seminars, practical and effective training and projects of industrial relevance for the students, with the intention to cease down the pause that exists between an industry and the classroom. Mock interviews and GDs are conducted on a regular basis so as to equip final and pre-final year students to face the challenges of the recruitment scenario. Close on the heels of placement drives, the Placement Assistance Cell makes an evaluation of the performance of our students. This objective appraisal enables us to identify strengths and weaknesses of the candidates and select the strategies for improvement. Besides, we extend intensive supportive measures to the rejected candidates.
Our Aim is to achieve 100% placements. We keep an up to date computerized database of students of all the branches with a view to serve the industries requirement. We have excellent infrastructure to support placement process. The Department has set up all the required facilities for the conduction of the recruitment process such as seminar hall for company presentations, group discussion rooms and interview rooms. The training and placement department has been built with a view to provide the complete autonomy and convenience for executives to conduct fair and transparent talent search to recruit good quality engineers and management students for positions in organizations. Our objective is to place our students in top companies even before they have passed out of the campus. Pre - Placement written tests, interviews etc. are made as per the industry requirements. We assist the employers to achieve their hiring goals by adopting the best practices in conducting and coordinating the campus placement process for them in the institution. With every passing year renowned organizations are visiting the campus and the numbers of recruiting organizations have been increasing annually. Our students have been recruited by some of the leading corporate like TCS, Aon, HCL , BOSCH, Capgemini, IBM, Wipro, L&T, Accenture, TATA Steel, TATA Motors, etc. with salary package ranging from 3LPA to 18LPA.
