Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) invited applications for 6th Combined Civil Services Examination (PT) 2015 for the recruitment under Civil services/Finance Services/Social Security Services/Information services from the eligible candidates; vide advertisement number 1/2015. The last date for registration was 15 September 2015.
Under the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), 6th Combined Civil Services Examination (PT) 2015 there are51 Posts, Out of which 10 Posts are for Civil services, 31 posts are for Finance Services, 03 Posts are for Social Security Services and 07 Posts are under Information services.
The candidate should have completed Graduation from a recognised institution, to be eligible for Jharkhand PSC Combined Civil Services Examination 2015. Maximum 05 attempts are permitted to a candidate to qualify the examination (relaxation is allowed for the candidate belonging to the reserved categories).
Jharkhand Civil Services Examination is segregated into two Parts, namely Preliminary and Mains
Preliminary Examination Consists of Two papers, each of 200 Marks:
- Civil services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper –I
- Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper –II
The examination paper is of multiple-choice pattern and consists of comprehension skill and knowledge of language and grammar; candidates have option to attempt the examination in language of their choice (English or Hindi).
Jharkhand Civil Services Mains Examination consists of six compulsory papers, common to all candidates. Two of these papers, each of 100 marks, shall be language based and the remaining four papers, each of 200 marks, shall be subject-based.
