FCI has started conducting Phase-I Online Exam for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil Engineering / Electrical Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade II (AG II) (Hindi), Steno Grade-II, Typist (Hindi) and Assistant Grade - III (AG III) (General/ Accounts/ Technical/ Depot recruitment having total 4103 vacancies. Highlights of FCI Phase-1 Prelims 2019 Exam:

  • The paper was conducted in Online Mode across different cities.
  • It is compulsory to carry Admit Card with affixed Photograph on it and Original ID proof alongwith its photocopy as well. Candidates are required to bring one ball point pen also.
  • Each question is of 1 mark and have 5 options.
  • There is negative marking of one-fourth (1/4) mark for wrong answers.
  • The questions were in bilingual except English Language.
  • 20 minutes is allowed for each section.
  • The marks obtained in Phase-I will not be reckoned in final merit ranking.

Important Points to Remember after FCI Phase-1 Prelims 2019 Exam

  • Phase-II: Online Mains Examination - The candidates fifteen times the number of vacancies (more than 60000) advertised shall be called for Phase-II examination.

  • Phase-III: Skill Test/ Document Verification - The Online test and skill test (wherever applicable) shall be followed by document verification stage for the candidates provisionally selected on the basis of the merit.
