GIC Assistant Manager Exam Pattern 2024: General Insurance Corporation of India has recently released the assistant manager (scale 1) officers notification. The GIC assistant manager exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2025. The selection (for all disciplines except MEDICAL (MBBS)) shall be on the basis of shortlisting of the candidates based on online tests, performance in group discussion & interviews, and medical examinations. GIC Assistant Manager Exam Pattern 2024
The GIC Assistant Manager examination consists of a four-stage selection procedure, i.e., an online test, group discussion, interview and medical examination. The online test will consist of subjects such as reasoning, English language, general awareness, and reasoning ability. The total marks that will be awarded will be 150 and the duration of the online examination will be 150 minutes.

GIC Assistant Manager General Stream Exam Pattern
The online exam of the general stream will consist of three parts, such as parts A, B and C, where parts A and B are objective types and part C is a descriptive type. Total test timing is 150 minutes, with 30 minutes for Part A (objective), 60 minutes for Part B (objective), and 60 minutes for Part C (descriptive). Candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion and interview on the basis of overall marks scored in the objective and descriptive sections taken together against full marks of 150. GIC Assistant Manager for Medical
The selection of doctors in the GIC will be done on the basis of performance in a two-level interview only and there will be no written test.
GIC Assistant Manager Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the online examination will be called for group discussion and interview, which will be conducted by the corporation. GD and Interview will be conducted at the selected centre. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of the interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. The list of candidates selected for GD & Interview will be displayed on the corporation’s website.
