Women play many different roles in their lives. Be it that of a daughter, a sister, a wife or a mother, her roles have always influenced and affected the lives of men in her life. From his father, brother, husband to son, she has taken care of them with all her love and heart.
Varied roles: A woman plays an integral role for different male figures in her life. As a mother she nurtures her son. She has a significant role in education and learning process of the child. She feeds them, takes care of them and when required scolds them to ensure that they tread on the rightful path. As a mother she is someone you can go to at any given time to have a heart to heart discussion. She sacrifices her own comfort for that of her child. She is non-judgmental, accepting and someone who loves you unconditionally. As a wife, a woman for her husband is someone who keeps him grounded even after he has achieved great success. She is with you through rough and smooth, happy and sad, in sickness and health. When you fail, she is there to motivate you to give it a shot one more time. She is strong, independent and loving.
Proud relations: As a sister, a woman is the partner in crime in all little mischiefs and pranks. She is someone you can sit with and discuss anything and everything. Having a sister in their life makes men appreciate and respect women they encounter in different spheres of their lives because they want the same for their sisters too. As a daughter, she is the heart of the family. She adds live and energy to your home. She is the reason why a father wishes to return home early. She is someone who brings a smile on your face when you meet her after a long, tiring day at work. She takes care of you and her small gestures give you immense happiness. A daughter is the closest person to a father’s heart. A man is indeed never complete without a woman. He needs her to play all those precious roles in his life to make it much more joyous and meaningful.
The other picture: Yet there exists some people who have too orthodox a view for the 21st century. For them having a girl child is still a matter of shame. They regard a girl as a burden on the family. They practice feticide/ infanticide or never let their girl child get education. She becomes the sacrificial goat in the family who has to let go of all her dreams and desires or for that matter even basic rights to fulfill the aspirations of the family. Such sections of the society need to be educated on the matter of importance of women in men’s life and in the society too. It is the ideology and thought process that needs to be changed only then can the situation for women will become better. A step towards it is by acknowledging and appreciation the significant of women in your life.
