- The GUJCET examination comprises of multiple choice questions with each question carries four alternatives.
- There are 4 sections - Physics, chemistry, Maths, Biology with objective type questions.
- The time duration is 3 hours for Engineering courses and Medical courses each.
- Candidates appearing for engineering course have to attempt Physics, Chemistry & Maths sections. •Candidates appearing for Medical entrance through GUJCET have to appear for Physics, Chemistry & Biology sections.
- There are 40 questions in each section and a total number of questions are 120 for each courses. Each question carries 1 mark.
- There will be negative marking of .25 for each wrong answer.
- The aspirants are required to appear for a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field. GUJCET is conducted in the languages English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
