IBPS Clerk Main Exam Analysis held in January (first week) 2016

The IBPS had conducted the online clerk main examination in the first week of January successfully. The mains exam consist 200 questions comprises of 5 sections which includes Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) English Language, & Computer Knowledge.


Analysis of Examination: The overall difficulty level of the exam was Moderate. The Banking team of Jagranjosh.com has come up with comprehensive analysis of the question paper and the expected cut off for the examination.

The section wise details are as follows:

Quantitative Aptitude: This section was Easy to Moderate. It is noticed that no question on Quadratic Equation and Data Sufficiency asked in this section.

General Awareness: This section was Easy to Moderate. The majority of question asked from banking and current affairs in this section. This section also include some questions on Award, Govt. Schemes, Headquarter of banks, books and authors, Important days, International Organisation etc. It was scoring section. 

Computer Knowledge: The question asked in this section was easy and included the basics. It was also scoring section. 

Expected Cutoff marks: - As per our analysis and difficulty level of the examination, the following Cutoff marks are expected for different category.
