ICAR-IIFSR Recruitment 2016 for 09 Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional Posts

Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research (ICAR-IIFSR) invited applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and walk in interview from 11 May 2016-13 May 2016.

Under ICAR-IIFSR Recruitment 2016, out of total 09 posts, 07 posts are for SRF and 02 posts are for Young Professional.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (Soil Quality Assessment and Developing Indices for Major Soil and Production Regions of India)-M.Sc (Agri) in Soil Science/Agronomy from a recognized University with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor’s. Candidates having post Graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree and  two years Master’s degree (in Soil Science) should have passed NET.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems (Programme-IFSM)- M.Sc Ag in Horticulture/Agronomy /Soil science/Animal Science with 4 year’s/5 year’s bachelor’s. Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with three years. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master Degree (Horticulture/Computer Science) should have passed NET.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (NPOF)-M.Sc Ag in Organic Chemistry /Agril. Chemicals/Bio-Chemistry/Agril Chemistry/Soil Chemistry with 4 year’s/5 year’s bachelor’s. Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with three years. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master Degree (Horticulture/Computer Science) should have passed NET.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (NPOF)-M.Sc Ag in  Agronomy/Soil Science with 4 year’s/5 year’s bachelor’s. Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with three years. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master Degree (Horticulture/Computer Science) should have passed NET.

Eligibility for Research Fellow (AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems (Programme-IFSM)-  Ph.D degree in Agronomy/ Horticulture Computer Science and Engineering or Master Degree in Agronomy /Computer Science and Engineering with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor degree having first division or 60% marks or equivalent grade point average with 2 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship /Associate ship/Training /Other research related engagements

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (Integrated Farming System for Improvement of Nutrition and Livelihood of Farm Women under Different Agro-ecosystems)- M.Sc Ag. Horticulture or Agriculture Extension with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s. Candidates having post graduate  degree in basic  Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree (Horticulture/Computer Science) should have passed NET.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (Development of Package of Machineries for complete Mechanization of small land holders under Different Farming systems situations)- M.Tech /M.E. in Farm Machinery and Power/ Farm  Power and Equipment /Agril. Engg. (Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility for YP I  (Efficient Groundwater management for enhancing Adaptive Capacity to climate change  in Sugercane based Farming system)-Graduate Agriculture /Horticulture.

Eligibility for YP II (Efficient Groundwater management for enhancing Adaptive Capacity to climate change  in Sugercane based Farming system)- M.Tech/ME in soil water conservation Engg./Agril.  Engg./M.Sc (Ag) Agronomy.
