The movement declined to a level down. However,  IIM Kozhikode quickly climbed to the 3rd position, while IIM Calcutta took the 4th position, leaving IIT Delhi in 5th place.

• When compared with IIM Calcutta, IIT Delhi dominates in one parameter, which is Graduation Outcomes (GO), where it was ahead by +14.77 points (99.03 vs 84.26) and in Outreach & Inclusivity (OI), which led the IIT by +12.02 points as well (70.78 vs 58.76). 

• On the contrary, IIM Calcutta had a benefit of +34.91 points  in Research & Professional Practice (RP) (86.14 vs 51.23).

3. 2023 Rank 5, 2024- Rank 4 

While in 2024 the rank shifted above and transitioned from Rank 5 to 4. IIM Calcuttaas one of the competing institutions, fell from 4th rank in 2023 to 5th in 2024.

• Utilizing its technological ecosystem, IIT Delhi has elevated its Research and Professional Practice score by an impressive 40.61 points, from 46.89 in 2022 to 87.50 in 2025. In the end, IIT Delhi's RP score of 87.50 was ahead of IIM Kozhikode's (87.50 to 59.80), IIM Lucknow's (87.50 to 64.14), and IIM Calcutta's (87.50 to 54.52) RP scores by 2025.

• IIT Delhi is performing better in Extensive Outreach and Diversity with a score of 68.28 in 2021, which was boosted to 75.59 in 2025 (+7.31), surpassing IIM Kozhikode (71.82) and IIM Calcutta (71.15).

• IIT Delhi has obtained best graduation outcome score of 99.03 in 2023.
