Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) began the application process of IIT JEE Main 2018 from December 01, 2017 in online mode. Students who want to appear for JEE Main 2018 are applying for the engineering entrance exam as, the last date for JEE Main 2018 application is January 01, 2018.CBSE has provided a new facility for JEE Main 2018 applicants i.e. 'Remove Discrepancy in Uploaded Images' under which candidates who have already applied for JEE Main 2018 can edit/modify the uploaded photograph or signature. For changing/editing the uploaded images of JEE Main 2018, the candidates need to login through the window provided below -
The mains exam of IIT admissions 2018 is conducted in two modes, pen-paper test and computer-based test. The aspirants can appear for JEE Main 2018 can appear for the exam as per their convenience. As per the exam dates of JEE Main 2018, the offline (pen-paper) exam will be conducted on April 08, 2018, Sunday and the online (CBT) exam will be conducted on April 15 and April 16, 2018; Sunday and Monday respectively.

IIT JEE 2018: Preparation Tips for dropper and repeaters
This year, CBSE has added a new feature in JEE Main 2018 Application form i.e. candidates who want to appear for paper 1 of JEE Main 2018 in online mode can choose the exam date and time as per their choice while filing up the form of JEE Main 2018. Earlier this feature was not available for candidates. Now candidates can select from two dates i.e. April 15 and April 16 as well as two sessions i.e. Morning session of 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates who will not select their exam slots will be allotted the exam date and time as per the availability at exam centres of JEE Main 2018 online examination.
