    The Paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 April session was successfully concluded by the national testing agency (NTA) on 7 April, 2019, in two shifts.     As per NTA, a total of 169767 candidates registered for the paper II (for B.Arch/B. Planning aspirants) of JEE Main 2019. In order to stop cheating using mobile networks, 3000 Jammers have been installed in all the centres.     • The first shift of JEE Main Paper 2 for April session was comparatively easy than the January session.
    • A total of 83 questions (Mathematics – 30, General Aptitude – 50 and Drawing - 3) were asked in Paper II of JEE Main 2019 April exam.
    • The Mathematics section was moderate, while the drawing section was the most time taking of all.
    • The questions in General Aptitude section were easy.
    • The questions asked from Coordinate geometry were easy.

    JEE Main 2019 January Exam: Detailed analysis and review of Paper II (Both Shifts)

    Out of 1, 80, 052 registered candidates, only 1, 45, 386 appeared for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 on 8 January in both shifts of the exam. A total of 83 questions (Mathematics – 30, General Aptitude – 50 and Drawing – 3) were asked in Paper II of JEE Main 2019. While talking to a few students who attempted the paper, most of them were of the view that the paper was of moderate level. They also told that Mathematics section contained irregular questions distribution as only 40% questions were asked from CBSE Class 12 while 60% questions were from CBSE Class 11. However, the Drawing and General Aptitude sections were easy according to the students.

    About the exam:

    The second phase of JEE Main 2019 (Paper I, II) will be conducted from April 7 to 12 (except April 11) in two shifts i.e., First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). The national testing agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the first session of JEE Main 2019 in the January month. The result for the same has been already declared by NTA in record breaking time. But students were able to check only the normalized score. After the JEE Main April 2019 Exam, the ranks of candidates will be released taking into consideration better of the two NTA Scores of all candidates appeared in Jan 2019 and April 2019 examinations.
