JSSC CGL Exam Starts Today: Check Shift Timings, Exam Day Guidelines

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is set to conduct the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE) 2024 starting today, September 21. The exam will be held over two days, on September 21 and 22, at various centers across the state. All three papers will take place in three shifts each day.

The authorities has announced the suspension of mobile data and wi-fi services for 5.30 hours on both the days throughout the state to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the Jharkhand CGL exam.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 2,017 vacancies for positions including Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Block Supply Officer, and Planning Assistant. JSSC CGL 2024 Admit Card: Steps to Download

Step 1. Visit the official website of JSSC at jssc.nic.in.

Step 2. Look for admit card download link on the homepage.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new webpage where you need to enter your Registration Number and Password.

Step 4: Your JSSC CGL Admit Card 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

JSSC CGL 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

When appearing for the exam, candidates must adhere to specific instructions to avoid any complications. Failure to comply with any of the guidelines listed below may lead to the cancellation of their candidature:

• Candidates are required to reach the examination center at least two hours before the scheduled start time.
• Entry gates will close 30 minutes prior to the exam, and latecomers will not be allowed entry under any circumstances.
• Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card and a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card. The admit card acts as an entry pass without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
• Do not bring prohibited items such as electronic gadgets, study materials, or personal belongings like wallets and handbags.
• Refrain from any form of misconduct or dishonest behavior during the exam.

JSSC CGL Exam Timings

As per the JSSC CGL exam pattern, the test is divided into three sections: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. All three papers will be conducted across three shifts on both exam days, i.e., September 21 and 22, 2024. JSSC CGL Paper 1 is scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 10:30 AM, with candidates required to report to the examination hall by 7:00 AM.
