    NISER has released admit card for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2018) on April 25, 2018. The students seeking admissions to five-year integrated M.Sc. course (3 year B.Sc. + 2 year M.Sc.) offered at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) can appear for NEST 2018. The admit card of NSET is available for all candidates who have successfully registered for the exam before the last date of application. The NEST 2018 admit card must be downloaded before the exam date i.e. June 02, 2018 so as to avoid last minute rush. The exam appearing candidates can download the admit card of NEST 2018 in online mode only after login with their registered User Id and Password for NEST 2018.

    NEST 2018 Eligibility

    • Candidates must have studied science stream in Class 11th and Class 12th and their subjects must include combination of three from Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
    • They must have passed in class 12th qualifying exam either in 2018, 2017 or 2016 from any recognised board in India
    • The aggregate marks scored in the qualifying board examination should not be less than 60%
    • SC/ST/PwD candidates must have scored more than 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects
    • Candidates birth date should be on or after August 01, 1998 and SC/ST/PwD have been provided five years relaxation in age limit.

    How to apply for NEST 2018?

    Candidates needed to fill online application form of NEST 2018 to appear in the examination. They can apply for NEST as mentioned below –

    Before applying keep Class 10th mark sheet, scanned copy of photograph and signature as per specifications.

    1. Visit the official website for NEST application and click on ‘Apply online’ link
    2. Enter basic details like name, mobile number, e-mail id and DOB to register for NEST
    3. Then, login with new registered id and password to fill personal details and educational details
    4. Now, they can select their exam centre preference for taking exam
    5. After this, they can proceed to upload their documents i.e. photograph and signature and pay the application fee through SBI Payment in online mode using Debit/Credit/Net Banking option. The application fee is as under –

    General and OBC (only male candidates): Rs. 1000
    Female applicants, SC/ST and PwD category applicants: Rs. 500

    How to download NEST 2018 Admit Card?

    Students can check here how to download the NEST Admit Card 2018:

    1. Visit the official website of NEST 2018 i.e. www.nestexam.in
    2. Click on the blinking link of Admit card to download, a new window will open up
    3. You need to click on login button to download NEST Admit Card 2018 after entering your User Id and Password as registered
    4. After reading the instructions and click ‘I agree’ on declaration to download the admit card of NEST 2018
    5. You can check the admit card in your account dashboard under Applicant’s detail tab
    6. Download NEST Admit Card after cross-checking all information mentioned on the admit card
    7. In case, the information mentioned on Admit Card of NEST 2018 is incorrect, then kindly contact the NISER exam coordinator before the exam.

    Key points of NEST 2018 Admit Card:

    • Students are required to carry the admit card for appearing in NEST 2018 as candidates not carrying valid admit card won’t be allowed to take the exam
    • Admit card of NEST 2018 mentions candidates details like name, photograph and signature and also, exam details like allotted exam centre name, location,  exam timings, paper code and name etc.
    • Candidates must keep extra copies of NEST admit card 2018 as it is required even at the time of counselling for final admissions.
