National Health Mission (NHM), Assam invited applications for recruitment to the post of Consultant, Programme Assistant, Audiologist, Audiometric Assistant and Hearing Instructor on Contractual Basis under National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), Assam. Eligibility Criteria for NHM, Assam Audiometric Assistant, Audiologist & Other posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Consultant: Degree or Diploma in Community Medicine/Preventive and Social Medicine/Community Health Administration/MPH/MBA Health Care Administration from an institute recognized by MCI with 3 years experience after obtaining post graduate degree.
• Programme Assistant: Bachelor degree from a recognized University and Diploma in Computer Application (One year) with adequate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Accesses, Power point presentation recognized by the council for technical education/DOEACC.
• Audiologist (Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist): A bachelor degree in Audiology & Speech language Pathology/BSc (speech and hearing) from RCI recognized institute.
• Audiometric Assistant: A technical person with diploma in hearing language and speech (DHLS) from a RCI recognized institute.
• Hearing Instructor for Young Hearing Impaired Children: Diploma in training young deaf and hearing handicapped (DTYDHH) from RCI recognized institute to look after the therapy and training of the young hearing impaired children at the district level.
