NIT Sikkim Notified Recruitment for Various Staff Vacancies 2014

National Institute of Technology Sikkim (NIT Sikkim), invited application for filling up various faculty and staff vacancies on ad hoc/ on deputation basis. Interested candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 1 July 2014.

Vacancy Details:

For ad-hoc staff positions

1) Superintendent /Accountant:

Salary: Rs.20000 to Rs.30000 per month

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Commerce/ MBA (Finance) with at least 3 year experience in handling accounts in Central Government Organizations. ICWA/ ICAI Intermediate passed and/or such professional degree/ diploma with 2 year experience in Government Organizations. Work experience with DCA/Tally ERP 9 will be preferred.

2) Accounts Assistant:

Salary: Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 per month

Qualifications: Graduation (preferably with Commerce) with at least two year experience in handling accounts in Central Government Organizations along with experience in computerized accounting. Work experience with DCA/ Tally ERP 9 will be preferred.

3) Library Assistant:

Salary: Rs.15000 to Rs.18000 per month

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with superior knowledge of computerized library service and 2 years of experience in relevant field with practical knowledge of Library Automation is preferable.

4) Lab Technician for Physics Department:

Salary: Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 per month

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with honours in respective subject. M.Sc. in relevant subject is highly desirable. 2 years of experience in relevant field may be preferred.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through E-mail/ phone.

Interviews are expected to be conducted in the first week of July 2014 in Kolkata.
