Number of attempts for improvement examination?

Q: I have decided to give improvement exam for my maths exam this year as I feel that I have not performed upto my expectation. I am sure that I will be able to gain good marks in improvement exam but, just in case, if am not able to can I apply again for improvement exam? Howe many times can it be given?

A: For improvement examination only one chance in the succeeding year is permitted. The candidate may appear privately; those re-appearing for whole examination can also appear as regular candidate if admitted by the school. For subjects involving practical work, if the candidate has passed the practical examination, he or she will be allowed to appear only in theory part. Only a statement of marks is issued by the Board after the improvement of performance.
