As per the official statement released by the board, the examination will be conducted between December 16 and 18, 2024. RRB JE Exam Pattern 2024
The first stage of the examination is known as the RRB JE CBT 1 (Computer Based Test) exam. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD) and it will contain a total of 100 questions. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer marked. RRB JE 2024 Selection Procedure
Candidates who have applied for the RRB JE examination will be evaluated through two stages of a computer-based test. Shortlisting of candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalised marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam. The total number of candidates to be shortlisted for the 2nd stage shall be 15 times the community-wise total vacancy of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in the 1st Stage CBT.
