Highlights of SSC Selection Posts Phase-VI 2018 Online Exam
- The paper was conducted in Online Mode across different cities.
- Different Question Papers were set for Different Zones, i.e., SSC (NR) New Delhi, SSC (WR) Mumbai, SSC (ER) Kolkata, SSC (SR) Chennai, SSC (CR) Allahabad, SSC (MPR) Raipur, SSC (KKR) Bangalore, SSC (NER) Guwahati and SSC (NWR) Chandigarh
- All the questions were compulsory and were in Mixed MCQ Format.
- Online Paper had questions in both English and Hindi Language. Candidates were supposed to answer the questions in the Language they opted before exam.
- There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- It is compulsory to carry at least one original Photo ID such as Voter’s ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, ID Cards issued by Government or other Offices where the candidates may be working. Candidates without such ID cards will not be allowed entry into the Examination Halls/ Skill Test venues.
- Candidates must bring 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate in the presence of Invigilator, if required. Candidates not carrying photographs will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Candidates were given rough paper and pen by the examination center only.
- Candidates were not allowed to leave the examination hall/room before the test was concluded.
Important Points to Remember after SSC Selection Posts Phase-VI 2018 Online Exam
- There will be no Interview process for the SSC Junior Level Posts as per Government Guidelines. Therefore, to get selected for SSC Selection Posts, a candidate is only required to appear in the Computer- Based Test CBT (CBT) and obtain the marks above the minimum cut-off (qualifying marks). Candidates will be shortlisted for Computer Based Examination based on the percentage of marks in Essential Qualifications as indicated by them in their application.
- Regional Office will call the required number of candidates (in the ratio of 1:10) for Document Verification (DV) for a particular category of post subject to availability of eligible candidates.
- Final result along with force allocation will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination. Final scores of the candidates will only be disclosed/ made available on the website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices at the time of declaration of Final Result for the particular Category of post.
